Our team of linguists are able to handle the transcription and/or translated of audio files.
Translation: Our client will send us a visual or audio file in a language that they want translated. The linguist will then listen to the spoken elements and translate what is being said (for example into English) against time codes (if available).

Transcription: Our client will send us a visual or audio file which they want transcribed. This means that whatever is said is written down, in the same language. So if someone says in English, “I paid for the items and then left”, then all we write is “I paid for the items and then left.”

The two services can of course be combined so that the end result is both what was said, but now in written format, as well as the translation.

We charge according to the amount of time taken to complete the project. Each and every piece of work will differ as the length of the audio/visual material, the quality of sound, how quickly people speak, what the topic of conversation is and in what format the translation or transcription is required will differ.
On average such work can take anywhere from 8 to 12 times as long as the source material; so 1 hour can take up to 12 (or more) to complete.
All we need to start the job is the actual source material.
Please contact us to discuss your needs and we shall do our best to deliver the job as quickly as possible for you.
